This Privacy Policy applies to the BubbleSpots app (the "Application") for mobile devices, developed by BubbleSpots (the "Service Provider") as a commercial service. The Application is provided "AS IS."
Information You Provide
The Application may collect information you provide when downloading, registering, or using the Application. Registration is optional, but some features may require it.
Any content you upload — such as photos, descriptions, or reviews — must not include other people without their explicit consent. Users are responsible for the content they provide.
The Service Provider may use the information you provide to contact you for important notices, updates, or promotional purposes.
Information Collected Automatically
The Application may automatically collect information including, but not limited to:
- Device type and unique device ID
- IP address
- Operating system
- Mobile browser type
- Usage patterns within the Application
Location Information
The Application may collect your device's location to provide:
- Geolocation services: Personalized content, recommendations, and location-based features
- Analytics & improvements: Aggregated, anonymized data to analyze user behavior, identify trends, and improve the Application
- Third-party services: Anonymized location data may be shared with external services to enhance the Application
Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Optional translation features use DeepL API (AI-powered) to translate user reviews and place descriptions.
- Your original text is sent to DeepL servers only when you request translation
- Translations are cached locally to minimize API calls
- We do not store your data with DeepL beyond the translation request
Third-Party Access
The Service Provider only shares aggregated, anonymized data with third parties to improve the Application. Third-party services used include AdMob and Expo, each with their own privacy policies.
The Service Provider may also disclose information:
- As required by law or legal process
- To protect rights, safety, or investigate fraud
- With trusted service providers under strict confidentiality agreements
Opt-Out Rights
You can stop all data collection by uninstalling the Application using your device's standard process.
Data Retention & Management
- User-provided data: Retained while you use the Application and for a reasonable period afterward
- Automatically collected data: Retained up to 24 months, then may be stored in aggregate

Note: Some user-provided data may be necessary for the Application to function properly.
Children's Privacy
The Application is not directed at persons under 18. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under 18.
Security of Your Information
The Service Provider implements physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your information. Access is limited to authorized personnel.
Note: No security system is completely immune to breaches.
Updates to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Changes will be reflected on this page. Continued use of the Application constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Consent
By using the Application, you consent to the Service Provider processing your information as described herein. "Processing" includes collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining, and disclosing information.
