These Terms & Conditions govern your use of BubbleSpots (the "App"), a family-friendly location discovery mobile application created by BubbleSpots ("we," "us," or "Service Provider"), based in the Netherlands. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you confirm you are 18 years or older and agree to these Terms.

1. Age Restriction

The App is strictly for users 18 and older. Minors under 18 may not use the App. We reserve the right to verify age and immediately suspend or terminate accounts of underage users.

2. Permitted Use & Prohibitions

Personal Family Use Only: The App is for non-commercial, personal use by families discovering kid-friendly locations.

Strictly Prohibited

  • Creating fake places, fake reviews, or misleading content
  • Using inappropriate language, images, or content unsuitable for children
  • Scraping, data extraction, reverse-engineering, or automated API access
  • Commercial use (businesses, marketers, competitors) without written permission
  • Any activity harming our family-friendly community standards

3. Business Exclusion

Businesses, organizations, or commercial entities may not use the App for any operational, marketing, or data collection purposes. Contact info@bubblespots.app for partnership opportunities.

4. Enforcement Rights

We reserve the right to:

  • Permanently ban accounts for violations without warning
  • Delete inappropriate or fake content immediately
  • Block IP addresses engaging in scraping or API abuse
  • Report illegal activity to authorities

5. Intellectual Property & API Protection

  • All location database, user spots, APIs, and App content remain our exclusive property.
  • API Rules: Rate limiting enforced. Data harvesting, resale, or commercial reuse triggers immediate legal action.

6. User Responsibilities

  • Secure your device and account. Avoid jailbreaking or rooting.
  • You cover all connectivity and data charges.
  • All posted content must be family-appropriate.

7. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with Supabase (authentication and database), Mailtrap (email delivery), and Expo.

8. Updates & Termination

  • You must install all updates.
  • We may terminate access anytime for violations without notice.

9. Liability & Disclaimers

  • App provided "as is." No liability for inaccuracies, downtime, or losses.
  • Indemnity: You cover our losses from your misuse.

10. Privacy & Data Protection

11. Governing Law

Dutch law applies. Amsterdam courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
